THE LOST CELEBRITARIAN FILES
Between 2005 and 2007, fragments of an unfinished Marilyn Manson project surfaced through flash animations and hidden pages on marilynmanson.com. Tied to the Celebritarian Corporation, a movement blurring art, celebrity, death, and spectacle, these sounds were never released as music.
What remains is not an album, but a sonic residue: ambient dread, industrial noise, and atmospheric loops once embedded deep within the site’s code.
We’ve recovered, remastered, and archived 13 of these audio artifacts.
Download them below, and step into what might’ve been.

MWG (POGO) Demos - Triptych era
Three unreleased demos recovered from a folder labeled “MWG Demos,” attributed to former band member Madonna Wayne Gacy (Pogo).
Each track is connected to one chapter of the Antichrist Superstar, Mechanical Animals, and Holy Wood trilogy.
This material contains no vocals, no final arrangements, just raw sonic fragments that offer a glimpse into the early architecture of the band’s most defining work.

BIG BLACK BUS (UPDATED)
We initially shared a remastered version sourced from an original tape, carefully extracted and enhanced to improve balance and clarity.
Now, we are proud to present a new capture sourced directly from a first-generation copy of the master, transferred on a 90s Sony TC-W32 deck. This version offers the most authentic and faithful listening experience yet, bringing you closer to how the recording was meant to be heard.

REMASTER
THE END - REPACKAGED
Released in 2019 to accompany Marilyn Manson’s cover of The End by The Doors, this video quietly vanished from the internet over the years.
Scattered fragments remained, some slowed-down, others degraded in quality, but a complete and faithful version was nowhere to be found.
Until now.
We’ve fully remastered the original video and made the official, lossless FLAC audio available, reconstructed from the highest-quality sources to ensure true preservation.
This is The End, restored, preserved, and packaged together for the first time.

CONCEPT
The High End of Low - Reshoot
Introducing: The High End of Low (Reshoot) — a complete reimagining of the album through a cinematic lens.
Demo versions. Live recordings. Uncensored cuts. Instrumentals. Alternate takes.
All sequenced in the original track order, but every frame has changed.
A second take on a record built like a film: rawer, starker, and just as emotionally volatile.

LUNCHBOX
Lunchbox marks a defining chapter in the early history of Marilyn Manson & the Spooky Kids. Released in June 10, 1991, it was the band’s fifth cassette and the third made available for public sale. Unlike previous releases, Lunchbox stood out for its wider distribution and larger production run, making it one of the most accessible artifacts from the Spooky Kids era.
The audio was carefully transferred and remastered to enhance clarity and tonal balance, while preserving the raw, lo-fi character that defines its original form. Through precise EQ work and minimal compression, we aimed to highlight the nuances of the recording without compromising its unpolished authenticity.

GRIST-O-LINE
Grist-O-Line represents a pivotal moment for Marilyn Manson & the Spooky Kids. While Gidget Gein and Madonna Wayne Gacy had already joined for Big Black Bus, this is where their creative influence truly began to shape the band’s evolving sound.
We extracted the audio and carefully remastered it to bring more balance and clarity while respecting its raw, unfiltered essence. Subtle EQ adjustments and light compression helped us preserve the integrity of this foundational recording.

CONCEPT
TYPEFACE OF AN AMERICAN FAMILY
In collaboration with @necroclubinc, we are honored to present Typeface of an American Family—a meticulously crafted font inspired by Portrait of an American Family.
This typeface has been entirely reconstructed from various original sources, including flyers, promotional materials, and early demo tapes through the Portrait of an American Family era. We carefully curated and refined every detail to make it as raw and organic as possible, resulting in two distinct variations while staying true to the aesthetic of that time.
We hope everyone enjoys it and finds creative ways to use it.
Hallelujah, motherfuckers!

ANALYSIS
The Hidden Layers - Death Is Not A Costume
Let’s work together to decode the intro of Death Is Not A Costume. There are several theories—ranging from it being a simple synth or foley sound to the possibility of a hidden message buried within. Given Manson’s history of embedding cryptic elements in his work, we truly believe there’s more to uncover in this introduction.
What’s clear is the presence of a looping sound with a tonal quality resembling a human voice, layered with digital vocoder post-processing—a technique heavily used during the Triptych era.
To dive deeper, we’ve gone down the rabbit hole and rendered multiple variations of the intro, applying different processes like EQ, vocoder effects, pitch shifts, and tempo adjustments. These have been packaged along with an INFO.txt file that details the processing for each variation, complete with spectrogram screenshots to help identify any hidden messages.

DEMo
The Beaver Meat Cleaver Beat
This is the long-rumored The Beaver Meat Cleaver Beat demo, which was obtained from producer Frank “Rat Bastard” Falestra. We’ve taken the time to remaster this tape, using subtle EQ adjustments and light compression to enhance and balance the audio, all while preserving its original character. A particularly interesting detail is the version of “White Knuckles” included here—it matches the one featured on The Funnel Zone CD, missing Manson’s opening line: “I wanted her all over me, so I cut her up and I smeared her.
Note: This isn’t Scott’s polished but heavily brickwalled remasters—instead, it’s a raw extraction from an authentic The Beaver Meat Cleaver Beat demo tape.

Tape Versions & Timeline - The Definitive Guide
Together with a great friend from spookykids.net, we’ve been conducting some research on the recording/release dates of Marilyn Manson & the Spooky Kids tapes. Our goal is to clear up the confusion and misinformation surrounding these dates, which can be found all over the internet, even among otherwise reliable Manson-related resources.
As part of this investigation, we managed to access a document that went up for auction after Scott’s passing. This document includes details related to the band, such as percentage share divisions, sample clearance points, and some legal matters they had to address as a band. More importantly, it also lists the recording/release dates of the tapes.
We’ve combined this information with details available from the newsletters to create a comprehensive timeline of the versions and release dates of these tapes. Our hope is to finally dispel the mystery and present the definitive timeline for these releases.
This post may be updated in the future as more information comes to light.

REMASTER
Mercury Web Address - December 16, 1999 (REMASTERED)
This week marks 25 years since the iconic Mercury Web Address appeared on Manson’s official website, on December 16, 1999. It was the first time fans learned of the album title In the Shadow of the Valley of Death—later expanded to include Holy Wood. The announcement included a rare studio video featuring glimpses of the recording process for “Disposable Teens,” “Little Child” (also known as “Mommy Dear”), and “The Love Song.” This was the public’s very first exposure to these tracks.
In the footage, Manson, wearing a bald cap, cradled a long, cylindrical recording mic during “The Love Song.” As the chorus hit, he violently jerked his head to the side before screaming the final lines. Later, sitting in a chair dressed in a tight, black, long-sleeve shirt, he introduced the album and unveiled the Mercury symbol.
Although the full video has been lost over time, one still image remains—a rare artifact that has been kept safe all these years. On this milestone anniversary, it feels right to share it. I remastered the audio from the session, and the transcript is on the INFO.txt

DEMo
The Raw Boned Psalms
This version was carefully extracted from an authentic The Raw Boned Psalms cassette using a Sony TC-W32 deck—the kind of tape deck most fans would have been using to listen to these recordings back in the early ’90s.
I’ve applied some gentle EQ adjustments and minimal compression to clean up and unify the sound while staying true to the original vibe. The beginning of “Red Head” is missing because it was printed that way on the original tape.

CONCEPT
The Last Tour on Earth v2.0
As you may know, all the songs on The Last Tour on Earth album, including instruments and vocals, were re-recorded in the studio and then mixed with added audience noise to simulate a live atmosphere. This studio trick was intended to enhance the sound of the instruments and Marilyn Manson’s vocals. Thanks to concert bootlegs, fans have compared the original live recordings to the album, revealing notable differences. To capture the raw essence of the original performances, we’ve compiled and merged select pieces from some of our favorite shows to recreate the setlist from The Last Tour on Earth in its unedited form. We did take some liberties with “Irresponsible Hate Anthem” and “Get Your Gunn,” using recordings from 1997 to maintain consistent audio quality and an authentic live experience.

CONCEPT
Portrait of an American Family - Reframed
This is a concept we’ve been exploring for a while, imagining what Portrait of an American Family could have been if it had originally emerged as a demo cassette. The idea of an early, raw version of Portrait has always fascinated us—how different might it have sounded? With that inspiration, we’ve pieced together this collection of songs from various sources, primarily demo tapes and studio sessions that were never accessible to the public. We’ve rearranged them to follow the album’s final track order and carefully mixed and mastered everything to provide a clear and cohesive experience. It’s assembled much like how songs were recycled from tape to tape in the early Manson days.

COMPILATION
Spooky Kids Announcement Cassette (CLEANED UP)
Spooky Kids Announcement Cassette is a bootleg by Marilyn Manson & the Spooky Kids. The bootleg consists partly of messages left on the Spooky Kids' answering machine, called The Spooky Kids Hotline. It also features recorded phone calls, Marilyn Manson quoting Charles Manson, and a collection of recordings made by Manson and Madonna Wayne Gacy as they walked about Fort Lauderdale. The bootleg originally surfaced under the title Spooky Kids Hotline; the cover art featuring the bootleg's current title was designed and released apart from the original compilation.
